Sergeant Frank Woods actor hints at Black Ops 3 game in YouTube video

Frank Woods Black Ops

James C. Burns, the actor behind Black Ops’ Sergeant Frank Woods, has hinted at the possibility of a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 video game in a holiday giveaway video.

The video was published on December 1, to Sgtfrankwoods’s YouTube channel.

Burns starts off the video by introducing himself saying, “Hi, James C. Burns here, Sgt Frank Woods Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 and uh, maybe 3. I can’t really say right now.”

At end of the video, Burns again teases Black Ops 3 by saying, “I have got some information coming up later on in the month about the next Black Ops…not the next Black Ops… the next Call of Duty game.”

You can watch the video below.

Thanks, Charlie INTEL.

Will there be a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3?

Will there be a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3?

That seems to be the big question after Activision’s recent quarterly conference call where CEO Don Mattrick said a new Call of Duty game will be released in 2014.

Despite short term uncertainties, as we look forward to 2014, we have a very strong pipeline… We expect to launch new Call of Duty and Skylanders titles and our major, new potential franchise with Bungie’s Destiny. We will also continue to develop Call of Duty Online with our partner TenCent for the growing Chinese market.

Stay tuned.

Welcome to our new Black Ops 3 fan website

This month, we unveiled BlackOps3.com, a fan site dedicated to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

It might seem unusual to launch a fan site for a game that hasn’t even been announced, but we’re excited for the game’s release, which seems more possible than ever now that Activision’s CEO has confirmed a new Call of Duty title in 2014.

We welcome your questions, suggestions, and comments and look forward to sharing more information with you.
